What is Fief?
Fief is a persistent multiplayer online strategy game played in your browser. You manage a settlement on a map of Earth, produce and trade resources, build relationships with other players, and compete for control of provinces.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Fief runs in your web browser, with a responsive interface for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Create an account to start playing, or explore the map first.
Do I have to lead a nation?
No. Your settlement is your home, whether you pursue your own nation or become part of a larger one. You can develop buildings, produce goods, trade with caravans, and support your nation with armies.
How does time work?
The world persists between visits. Actions such as army movement and battles resolve on scheduled ticks, currently every three hours. The in-game countdown shows when the next tick will happen.
Can I look around before signing up?
Yes. Open the world map to explore Fief before creating an account. When you’re ready to place your settlement and take part, sign up.
